Before you head out to the store or give your credit card information
online, you want to make sure that you are purchasing the best camera
possible for the money you are spending.
You do not have to spend a thousand dollars for a high
quality camera though and that is proven with the Canon
IXUS 85 IS.
For just a couple hundred dollars, you can have a high quality camera
that you should have no problem relying on time and time again.
Canon IXUS 85 IS Camera Design
Of course, just as with anything out there for sale, there are some bad
things that are said about the product
along with many good things.
It is important to make sure that you are fully aware of the full
picture. This is the only way to ensure that you are getting a camera
that is going to suit your needs.
Many people find that the Canon IXUS 85 IS a wonderfully compact design
which makes it very easy to carry the camera just about anywhere. The
picture quality is very pleasing and the optical
viewfinder is of high quality.
There seems to have been some complaint that the switch for the horizontal
mode can be a little awkward to use at times. In
addition, for the money that is spent, some people find that the 2.5
inch display screen is just a little too "average" in
size.
Canon IXUS 85 IS Camera Features
This 10-mega pixel digital camera runs
off a lithium ion battery, which is
charged through the use of an AC adapter.
It has a built in microphone, which can
come in handy for when you want to
capture some video moments.
That is right, there is an AVI video format
with a capture speed of 30 fps so you
should have no problem making sure that you are getting all of those
special moments recorded.
There is a digital zoom of 4x and an optical zoom of 3x. The flash
and the tripod mount are built into the
camera for your convenience. When you want to make sure that things are
in focus, you will be glad to know that the length for focus is 35mm up
to 105mm.
You can also use SDH (Secure Digital High)
or a SD (Secure Digital) card for storing
an extra amount of pictures.
