The
newly released Kodak Z650 Zoom is a remarkably small Digital Camera
with an extended 10x optical reach. Check out what we thought of the
Kodak Z650 Zoom Digital SLR...
The Kodak
Z650 has an intriguing design that fits well into the
shape of your hands and encourages a better holding position as you
zoom into the distance using the versatile lens.
It isn't so small it fits
into a pocket, but the potential it offers completely outweighs
this.
The Z650 also features 7.1
Megapixels and a live histogram view allowing the user
to check and verify the exposure settings in a variety of camera modes.
The Kodak Z650 Zoom digital
camera is a high zoom camera, aimed at the enthusiast's market, as it
can be used in automatic and manual modes.
To help you take pictures in different lighting and exposure situations
there are pre programmed scene modes covering Portrait, Landscape,
Sports and Night Scenes.
For composing and reviewing
images, as well as accessing the camera's menus there is a 2"
LCD screen. This is above average. There is also an
optical viewfinder to aid composition. Movies can also be captured with
this model. These are up to three minutes in duration at a resolution
of 160x120.
We found this a simple
camera to master, regardless of previous photography
experience.
The
function and control layouts are simple so we would recommend this to
any beginner or unsure enthusiast alike.
However its simplicity
doesn't
mean it under-performs. It certainly stands upto the task.
It's also
available at a reasonable price considering its features and
accessories. A definite thumbs up from us!
Ergonomics,
ease of use and functionality, are the main positives in this model and
really add value to the overall package. We think this model may better
suit the beginner or amateur enthusiast best.
