Nikon Coolpix L100 Review

The Nikon Coolpix L100 is a digital camera with 10 mega pixels that will ensure that you end up with professional quality prints.

For the best quality prints though, you will want to enlarge your photos to no more than 16 x 20 inches. The camera comes with a Zoom-Nikkor lens, made from glass, and a 15x optical wide angle shot.

The LCD viewing screen is 3 inches and there is even an electronic viewfinder.

Included within the camera are a face priority AE and the red eye feature, which is just a part of the Smart Portrait System from Nikon.

Nikon Coolpix L100 Camera Design

Nikon L100 The camera itself is only 12.6 ounces in weight and the dimensions are 4.3 x 2.8 x 3.1 inches, which means it can fit in just about any pocket or small purse.

Even though this camera may appear to be small and wimpy, it is anything but that.

The Nikon Coolpix L100 has a new continuous scene mode for sports. When you set the resolution down to 3MP or even lower, you will be able to shot up to roughly 13 fps up to a total of thirty frames.

Nikon Coolpix L100 Camera Features

Nikon L100 The Smart Portrait System includes not just the red eye feature, but also a smile mode. This mode cannot be found on many digital cameras as of yet.

When you subject finally smiles, the shutter will automatically be released and the picture will be captured.

There is also a warning message that is displayed when the subject has blinked. These features are designed to make sure that you have perfect pictures every time.

There are also a wide variety of scene modes that come with the Nikon L100 digital camera. You will have the options of sports, night portrait, portrait, party, landscape, sunset, beach and snow, dusk and dawn, night landscape, fireworks show, copy, close up, museum, back light, food and even panorama.

This means that you should always be able to get the best picture quality no matter what your setting conditions are.

Nikon Coolpix L100 Extra Features

Nikon L100 You have the battery choice of either Lithium or the use of four AA Alkaline batteries.

This is a great option since not everyone enjoys the charging time and restriction of the Lithium and then there are those who do not like spending a lot of money on disposable batteries.

Many people have found the Nikon L100 digital camera to be one of the best cameras that they have ever used.
