The lens is large and because of that, some weight is added to the lens as well. Still it is quite easy to use and shouldn't be very difficult in getting some good shots with excellent sharpness levels. The Olympus 300mm f/2.8 Zuiko Digital is currently the top lens in the "Super High Grade" category. When using a 35mm camera, 600mm will be used for compatibility sake. To achieve the best quality possible, good looking ED lenses are necessary and Zuiko Digital will assist. In fact, three ED lenses are present to make sure that the resolution is optimized. The 300mm gets some added points for build quality and design. At first glance, looks like a typical lens that can set anyone back a few thousands of cash but on the brighter side, lies on its lightweight design for easy carrying around. It was designed to incorporate both metallic and plastic elements so it is not that hard to load a drive. Despite some weight issues, the Olympus 300 f/2.8 me is a fun camera to capture memories with. The $7,000 price tag may turn off a few people, but this lens leans on professional photographers that know what they are doing.
