Olympus MJU 1060 Review

Olympus MJU 1060 Camera Features

Olympus-Mju-1060 The Olympus MJU 1060 is a 10.1 mega pixel digital camera that has many wonderful features that automatically come with it.

There is a three inch LCD viewing screen and it does not come with a view finder.

Some people may not like the fact that it does not come with the viewfinder but most people do not use them anymore.

There is a built in flash and a mount for a tripod, which ensures that you will get the best possible picture.

olympus_mju_1060 The still images come in a JPEG format and there is the digital video option. There is also the nice 7x optical zoom, which will come in handy, and the size of the camera itself is very compact.

This easy to operate camera of course has a couple of drawbacks. The menu interface is said to lag a little and there are no optics for wide angles.

The image quality it good, but many people feel that it is not as good as it could be, which might leave some people who are used to more high tech cameras a little disappointed.  

There is 41.1 MB of memory that come automatically within in the camera. If you find that you use up the 41.1 MB of memory fairly quick, you can always make use of a SD card for additional space.

Another thing that you find like is that the face detection feature is quick enough and detailed enough to detect many faces, 16 faces in fact.

Olympus MJU 1060 Extra Features

olympus-mju-1060 The Olympus MJU 1060 is powered by a lithium battery which can last for about 200 pictures.

If you are using the flash a lot, you might find that you get fewer pictures in before the juice is depleted but it should still be enough for any major event you are trying to record memories of.  

As far as the picture quality goes, the Olympus MJU 1060 does better than some of its competitors, but not as well as others.

If you are looking for a digital camera that will give you good enough quality pictures, then the Olympus MJU 1060 might just be the option for you.
