When purchasing electronics such as a digital
camera why not go with the leader in consumer electronic production?
The most recent release from this giant is the Sony
Alpha A700K camera. Sony
recently acquired the Minolta corporation and this camera is loosely
based on the Konica 7D. Both Sony and Minolta fans
will be very excited to try this new camera out.

Imaging
Would you like to create your own poster size
image of your grandkids soccer game? With 12.24 megapixels,
you can do exactly that and give you rich tonal reproduction
as well as high signal to noise ratios.
It seems that the more expensive the camera the
higher the number of frames per second you can shoot. The Sony
Alpha A700K offers you three
or five frames per second even in full 12.24 megapixels. That
is quick enough to get some action shots, however still not quite
enough for high-speed sports scenes.
In addition, you have a camera equipped with built
in steady shot technology. This means that the
image sensor will move in response to camera shake giving you instant
blur reduction. This can give you an advantage in low light
or with handheld shots that would traditionally need a tripod, by
offering 4.0-shutter speed.
The body of this camera is lightweight and thanks
to the built in grip super easy to hold. It is dust and
moisture resistant and has an aluminum chassis with
magnesium overlay. The Sony Alpha weighs in at less than two
pounds and feels quite substantial in the hand.
Fun Features
The Sony Alpha 700 comes with a handy remote that
has many uses. You can take a family photo instantly with the wireless
remote or set up a two-second delay. Another really fun
feature is the ability to connect the camera to
both your high definition television and a printer
at the same time. Now you can conduct a fun family slide show and print
off copies with the remote!
Finally
Are there areas where this camera could be
improved upon?
Yes, of course but that is the way of technology today.
A product comes out on the market already behind in many ways.
The good news is Sony announced that this would be their medieval
digital SLR camera, which means newer more feature rich
products are on the way!
